Medical cards, pre-employment and nation-wide Consortium enrollment for random Urine Drug and Alcohol Breath testing and Sleep Apnea Screenings.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has made sweeping
regulatory changes for 2013 and 2014 that affect all CDL drivers and their employers.
It is required in 2014 that all CDL driver's Medical Exams be performed and the
Medical cards issued by a FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner. It is also required
that all drivers be enrolled in a Consortium for random drug and alcohol testing.
